General Information about Tinnitus

Tinnitus is a word derived from a Latin word, which mean ringing. It is a disorder of ear canal in which the ear get stimulate with the sounds which are not present. It mean that the ear canal hear some sounds which are not present. This is a common disease of old age and about 20% people of age more than 65 do complain of tinnitus. Apart from aging other reasons are also present for this disorder like use of inner head phone, ear canal impairment, and misuse of some medicine, infection of ear or any kind of allergy of the nasal cavity. There are millions of small hair which vibrate with the waves of sound they are present in ear canal. Any vibration to them cause’s sensation of ear to the brain and brain convert it into the sound. Any change in the structure or disturbance in process cause it. It is the general information about it.
